I worked on Great Keppel Island for 5 months in 2009 and had to escape just before Christmas due to the most abusive workplace I've ever known.

It prompted me to write a book - "The Affluent Abuse of Women." It was released for sale on 30th November 2010.

The Value of Ability Driven Experience.

Our aging population is loaded with ability driven experience, with a well practiced understanding of consequence.

It is the acquired understanding of consequence that is our "insurance policy" against making decisions in life that will lead to disaster.

It is the lack of this understanding, promoted by youthful inexperienced, that has dominated the decision-making process over the past 25 years.

  • Why do we ignore this great resource?
  • Why is our decision making process based on experimentation - not experience?
  • Why do we plunge into one crisis after another, when they are avoidable?
  • Why are we as a community always at the bottom of the pecking order?
  • Why has politics torn down community standards?

Academia is fraudulently marketed.

  • Ability ..... does not come from a book.
  • Experience ... does not come from a book.
  • Intelligence ... does not come from a book.
  • Discipline ... does not come from a book.
  • Justice ...does not come from a book.
  • Ethics ... does not come from a book.
  • Wisdom ... does not come from a book.

 

The Abuse of Women.

"Womanhood was always intended by nature as a balance to the insufficiency of Man - but male ego & self-indulgence has dominated throughout the centuries suppressing the value of womanhood.

While ever this continues, we as a Species will never reach our potential nor womanhood its security."

The level of community ignorance & the irrational behaviour it produces is staggering.

Even the Courts aid & abet in the abuse of women - while the Legal System is too often irrational.

These women are abandoned by social protocols & a domestic violence Act incapable of meeting their needs. This is an area of DV protected by male domination because of the social & business impact on them if they are found out to be a woman abuser.

These women are locked in & ruled by affluence, influence, power & giant egos who think they are bullet proof. Here - power + money = fear.

John made a 25-year study of abused women - privately assisting many at the affluent end of the social scale.

"The Rescue of Brenda" is a detailed account of one such rescue - and is a chapter in John's book - The Affluent Abuse of Women.

Child Abuse of Mothers.

The abuse of mothers by their children is now worse that partner abuse of women.

Partner abuse creates much of this. Women beaten down escape the marriage only to be left to raise abusive children on their own.

Now we have socially uneducated, undisciplined children having babies. Adolescent teenagers are too easily distracted, too inexperienced to sense danger, unable to prioritise, not yet developed a mind's eye.

Most deaths of children under 5 years are the product of teenage parents. The same applies to a range of terrible injuries. How do we determine child abuse?

We tore down community standards, glorified abuse, violence & sexual assault. Now we pay those least qualified as parents to have babies.

 

The Raising of Children.

We face a horrifying future - if we do not address NOW the escalation in social decline.

We had imposed on us 30 years ago the abandonment of Community Standards. We are the only Species in history silly enough to do so.

There is a three-some that has always been the foundation to the quality of our social coexistence, as a community - discipline, respect & obedience.

This same "Big 3" also provides the foundation to the reliability of our performance, in all that we do - be it in sport, in the workplace, socially and in our private lives.

Bad social behaviour in the work place costs business many millions of dollars each year in poor performance and wasted production.

And it all starts with bad parenting in the home.

We are one of the worst of all the Species when it comes to looking after our own.

This photo depicts a starving child crawling towards a United Nations food camp located a kilometre away. The vulture walks along with the child waiting for the child to die.

There is a wider context to this appalling photo.

The "vulture" can take many forms in the eyes of those facing disaster in their lives. And help all too often is just as lacking.

John had 3 years as Secretary on the Board of the Brisbane Youth Service. It is the best service of its kind, dealing with the street-kid problem.

It was a life-changing experience, said John, to see such human degradation in Australia.

"I never thought it possible that we would care so litte for our own children."
